Split Files is a tiny application that allows the user to split a file into a number of smaller pieces or join the split pieces into a single file. There are several situations where you need to split a file because of certain restrictions. Sometimes it´s not possible to transfer large files via e-mail or to other peer computers. Downloading and uploading large zip files is also a very tedious task. Such problems can be handled easily with Split Files.
This file splitting application has a simple and intuitive interface and displays all the main features in the main window for easier access. Splitting a large file could not be simpler: you just need to select an input file, choose either split by number or split by size option, select the output folder and then click on "split file". That’s it. Within seconds, you accomplish your task with absolute ease. Furthermore, the tool also lets you combine multiple pieces into a single file without any external programs. Although the program isn’t quite feature-rich, it serves its main purpose well enough.
